The infinite colors within plants

Many Japanese colors are named after plants.
It was a fascination with the colors of natural plants, ores, and animals.

"I want to dye it the color I've always wanted."The technique of herb dyeing has been cultivated
from ancient times with this in mind.
Currently, chemical dyeing is the mainstream.
Indeed, chemical dyes, which are less expensive than herb dyes, are attractive to producers.

But sometimes, for the humans who use it and for nature,
Heavy metal and chemical dyes are never attractive.
On the other hand, I think that grass-dyeing, in which everything is derived from nature,
attractive to humans and nature enough on its own.
MAITO's knitwear begins with our hands capturing
the colors of plants and trees on the material.
