Senshu, also known as the Senboku District in Osaka Prefecture.
This region is famous for being a major center of textile manufacturing in Japan.
The area is home to many factories specializing in wool spinning, towel weaving, blanket weaving, flat knitting, and sewing.
At Maito Design Works, we have our flat knitting factory in this historic region of Senshu.
Using Shima Seiki's automatic flat knitting machines as the core of our operations, we handle everything in-house,
from knitting design and knitting to finishing, which includes fulling and sewing, all carried out by skilled artisans in Senshu.

Seamless
Holes Garment Knitwear

Through computer programming, we create 3D knitwear with no seams,
designed to fit the human silhouette. The seamless knitwear, with no join lines, is
durable, resists shape distortion, and feels gentle on the skin. Furthermore, we use minimal yarn, reducing waste.
